Forget Celebs and Socialites Is Breast Augmentation Right for You?
Glee fans, rejoice! Or collectively sigh in disapproval — whichever fits.
Show star Naya Rivera recently posted a photo to her Instagram account that flaunted her bikini bod, but to discerning fans everywhere, something was slightly…off. Hollywood Life spoke with two different plastic surgeons in order to get their opinions, and the results were unanimous: It definitely looks like Rivera’s gone from a B cup to a D cup.
Of course, that hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. But if it’s true, Rivera joins a long list of other celebrities who’ve gone under the knife to up their breast size, including A-lister Victoria Beckham (though she recently had hers removed). The reasons are apparent enough — plenty of young Hollywood starlets use their physical assets to get ahead.
But there are also other reasons to get breast augmentation surgery that have nothing to do with getting better parts on TV shows and in films. For your convenience, we’ve put together this list of three reasons why investing in breast implants can be a good idea for a woman.
1. An improved sex life.
One recent poll showed that 34% of women who’ve recently had breast implant and breast lift procedures admit to more satisfaction in their, shall we say, extracurricular activities. Additionally, other studies conducted by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery have shown the same. That’s likely part of the reason why breast augmentation surgery is the most popular cosmetic procedure in the United States.
2. Better self-esteem.
This benefit goes hand-in-hand with the one above it, but it also goes a bit deeper into psychological territory. Sure, more romantic partners and/or increased satisfaction with your sex life can do wonders for your overall well-being, but so can a positive self-image. That’s one of the biggest pluses of investing in breast implants for women everywhere.
3. A lifetime investment.
The more breast implant information you know, the better. And one of the key facts of getting a boob job is understanding that breast implants are not lifetime devices but decisions that can be rethought at any time. What is a lifetime investment, however, is the decision to better yourself — whether that means investing in breast implants or not.
At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter which Hollywood celeb or socialite is bumping up her B cup to a D (or beyond). What matters is that you choose the cosmetic surgery procedure that will best benefit you for the rest of your life. Or, don’t choose one at all. The decision is now and will forever be in your hands alone. Read more blogs like this.
