The best workout routines for men are not those awful gym machines, believe it or not. Free weight exercises are.

Those machines work muscles in unrealistic motions, so they do not develop quite the way you think they do. Your muscles may grow, but if you had to lift an oddly shaped object weighing hundreds of pounds, those muscles would not work as well because you have not further developed your stabilizer muscles.

See, the best workout routines for men actually involve the free weights because the movements used to lift them are closer to the movements that you would find yourself using in the real world. Not just the gym. Dead lifts, squats and other free weights exercises provide a much more holistic work out.

Free weights can also work your muscles much better, since you are not forced to lift them slowly like the machines.

The biggest reason that make free weights one of the best workout routines for men? The fact that they are affordable. You do not need an expensive gym membership to use them and they only cost a fraction of what gym equipment cost.

However, that is not to say that machine exercise is without advantage. Focusing your fitness workout routine on the machines is safer, and it is more time efficient.

But if you had to ask me, I would say that the best workouts for men, whether they be exerces for abs for men or great workout plans for mens bodybuilding, or even for six pack workouts, the best workout routines for men would definitely be free weight exercises.
