It can be hard to know if one is need of a recovery from severe burnout, but there are some signs and symptoms to watch out for. After all, physicians and medical professionals have rates of depression up to 30% higher than the rates of depression seen in the general population. Medical professionals are, after all, up to 20% more likely to file for divorce than the general population.
